The Coniferous Forest  have cool winters and hot summers and range around a 14 to 29.5 inches of rain fall a year. Well known plants/trees here are the Monterrey pines and the sitka spruces. Animals seen roaming around in the forests are the moose and the great horned owl. Just like most endangered animals, the giant panda is nearing extinction because the more the human population grows the more of their land we take destroying their main food source, bamboo. Of course all the acid rain we cause doesn't help to much either.
